- TIME FOR A COOL CHANGE AUSSIE SUMMER -
Method: Create-a-melting-snowman leftover from Christmas and Tentacle with laptop as background
The nature of Tentacle was IRREPRESSIBLE!!!
One of my favourite TV adverts is after the link - the Carlton Draft parody of Flashdance. Brilliant!
This week marked the 117th birthday of the Wan Brothers' who created the Monkey King (AKA Monkey Magic). Google featured a pretty awesome homepage graphic which can now be seen here.
“In the worlds before Monkey, primal chaos reigned. Heaven sought order, but the phoenix can fly only when it's feathers are grown. The four worlds formed again and yet again, As endless aeons wheeled and passed. Time and the pure essences of Heaven, the moistures of the Earth, and the powers of the Sun and the Moon all worked upon a certain rock - old as creation, and it magically became fertile... Elemental forces caused the egg to hatch. From it then came a stone monkey... The nature of Monkey was irrepressible!
Crossover episodes are fun.
Remember when Murder, She Wrote's Jessica Fletcher rocked up at Magnum P.I's house and stank the place out with the smell of Werther's Originals, moth-balls and urine? No? Well trust me, they are fun (although usually there is less hot-and-happening octogenarian Cabot Cove amateur sleuth cleavage on display).
Moving right along...the same day this photo was taken, Cyanide & Happiness posted a tentacle-centric cartoon.
Head on over for PET PEEVE and try not to read with your mouth open.
